Media coverage towards the end of last week focused on a nursery provider in England whose systems were hacked leading to the publication of staff and children's personal data. Whilst we have no information to suggest the targeting of services in Scotland, the National Cyber Security Centre has published guidance for early years practitioners on how to protect sensitive information about their setting and children in their care from accidental damage and online criminals.
